Special General Meeting items:

To vote as to whether you agree with the following proposals:

  1. Do you agree with the committee finding that CPL should stay as a single, coterminous LPC in Lincolnshire working within our existing levy? (Please see attached report for rationale)
  1. Do you agree that CPL should adopt the New Model LPC Constitution as from the start of the next term of office in 2023? (appendix 2 in attached report)
  1. Do you agree to delay the elections for LPC membership by a further 3 months. Currently Members Terms of Office expire on 31st March 2023.

Background

On 17th November the committee met to discuss next steps around the Transforming Pharmacy Representation (TAPR) programme, as detailed in the attached report. The committee proposed that Lincolnshire remain as a single LPC, coterminous with the ICS and Health and Wellbeing Board, working within the current financial envelope, while also meeting the additional financial levy requested by PSNC, as detailed in the attached paper. We also proposed that the new model constitution (as shown in Appendix 2 of the attached paper) is adopted.

In order to align with other LPCs nationwide to allow sufficient time to process election requirements, the Committee considers that the elections should be delayed until later in the year when the TAPR programme has progressed further. The new model constitution adoption allows for this change.
