Antimicrobial Guidance

Local antimicrobial guidance is available from the Lincolnshire Prescribing and Clinical Effectiveness Forum (PACEF) and Lincolnshire Joint Formulary websites.

Antimicrobial Guidance and App access
Since December 2024, the Microguide app and website no longer provide current Antimicrobial Guidance for Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire ICB have commissioned Eolas Medical to maintain local antimicrobial guidance. Details of how to access guidance using the App can be found below

TARGET Antibiotic Toolkit
The TARGET (Treat Antibiotics Responsibly, Guidance, Education and Tools) Toolkit Hub is an invaluable resource, designed support clinicians, including community pharmacists working in primary care with their development and implementing robust antimicrobial stewardship. Within the toolkit, there is a Summary of Antimicrobial Prescribing Guidance; this has been produced as an interim, whilst UKHSA and NICE agree options for producing this in the future. You can access this Summary using the link below:
