Accessing GP Services: Healthcare Professionals telephone number
Many practices have a telephone number (often referred to as the back door telephone number) that is not to be shared outside of the pharmacy and is for use of healthcare professionals only.  This should be listed on the Directory of Services.  If you cannot find a number for your local practices, it would be a good idea to approach them and see if they can provide you with a number to use for urgent referrals back into the practice as this would be useful both for the lifeguard project and services such as Pharmacy First.
