Community Pharmacy Lincolnshire AGM 2025
Annual General Meeting of Community Pharmacy Lincolnshire – Report
Last Thursday we welcomed contractors and pharmacy colleagues to our Annual General Meeting at Washingborough Hall just outside Lincoln.
The event was well attended, with those who came along first enjoying a buffet meal and opportunity for networking with colleagues, followed by the formal part of the AGM, where the Chair gave an overview of the work completed last financial year ending 31st March 2025 and the focus for the year ahead, and the Treasurer presenting the annual accounts. The annual accounts were approved. A copy of the accounts, along with the Treasurer’s supplementary report to the accounts and the Committee’s Annual Report can be found on our Finance website page here.
Two informative and useful presentations followed, the first delivered by our Chair, Paul Jenks, covering key upcoming changes to the contract and PGDs. The slides for Paul’s talk can be accessed here.
The second, delivered by our guest speaker Kiran Hewitt, Chief Pharmacist at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. focussed on depression, to support the upcoming addition to the NMS service. The slides used can be found here and other resources that might be helpful for you all are on the LPFT and pharmacy website page: Medication and Pharmacy Services :: Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust.
Kiran mentioned the choice and medication resource during her presentation. To note, this is for LPFT patients, carers and staff only so it’s fine to signpost patients under the care of LPFT to this resource, LPFT can’t really recommend it as an information source to non-Trust employees directly. The product is accessible through individual organisational purchases. Kiran did approach the ICB to get access and use across Lincolnshire, but they were not able to commit to this purchase at the time.
We thank Kiran for her time and assistance.
We also mentioned the patient signposting resources on the LPC website, these are particularly helpful for supporting people facing loneliness, domestic abuse and suicide ideation. They can be found via links here: Signposting Resources: Including Domestic Abuse, Suicidal Ideation and Wider Mental Health Support – Community Pharmacy Lincolnshire
We hope that those who attended will join us next year and that those who were not able to come along will be able to do so next time.
