Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is about all staff using the contact they have with patients and the public, to give healthy lifestyle information, and signposting to services around stopping smoking, drinking alcohol within recommended limits, having a healthy diet, maintaining a health weight, and undertaking the recommended levels of physical activity.
